My Inspo

The 80’s made me and the 90’s raised me. That means… I wore tie dye then, and I’m definitely wearing it now. I remember making tie dye shirts at summer camp and being so into the different ways to twist, turn, and fold the shirt to get the different patterns and designs. The best (and the hardest part) was always deciding the color combination. You can never really go wrong! I’ve never been shy of bright, vibrant colors or mixing them for that matter. Tie dye is the perfect trend to rock as the weather warms up, especially as neons and highlighter hues have a full on moment.

This look is one of my faves because it’s a perfect mix of the tie dye prints and colors, and most importantly, the baggy draw sting pants and slightly baggy shirt were oh so comfy. Also, rugged boots are a staple in my fall, winter, spring, and transitioning weather arsenal (pretty much all year round). My fav piece of this look is, for sure, the Southwestern Denim duster- complete with studs and tassels for the perfect accents of cultural flair. I found this on Etsy and there wasn’t a second thought- I had to have it. Denim is so versatile and the brown tassels and the teal/red/ maroon embroidered diamonds are a perfect compliment to the colors of the tie dye.

Too shy for tie dye? There are, of course, more subtle ways to dip into the trend. Start with designs that showcase one color or complimentary colors. Even more subtle versions of the trend stand out and add that something extra to a look.
